A targeting channel is re-usable set of delivery limitations for a website.

Targeting channels mean that commonly used sets of one or more delivery limitations can be quickly, easily and accurately re-used to ensure that banners are correctly targeted.

Targeting Channels

Targeting channels are a pre-defined set of delivery limitations. They allow:

  • A set of delivery limitations to be applied quickly, easily and accurately to banners, to help ensure that multiple banners with the same delivery limitation (or targeting) requirements all have the same limitations applied;
  • A simple way to update the delivery limitations that are being used by multiple banners, without having to edit each and ever banner's limitations; and
  • A way of overcoming the default evaluation order for delivery limitations, if required.

Using Targeting Channels

 Once defined, a targeting channel can be applied to a banner via the Site - Channel delivery limitation.

Targeting channels will only be available to be applied to a banner once the banner has been linked to a zone in the website for which the targeting channel has been defined.
